Avaliação anual - Annual evaluation

Hoje rolou a minha avaliação anual aqui na empresa. Resumindo, a avaliação foi boa, mas um comentário do meu chefe foi um tanto quanto engraçado. Ele disse que "gostou da forma como eu reagi quando ele me colocou sob pressão". Em outras palavras, ele quis dizer que achou bom o fato de eu não ter gemido quando ele botou no meu cu...

Today I had my annual evaluation here in the company. In a few words, the evaluation was good, but one comment from my boss was kinda funny. He told me that "liked the way I reacted when he pushed me hard". In other words, he meant that it was good that I didn't scream when he fucked my ass...

Trabalho internacional - International Job

Pela primeira vez, fiz um trabalho pra outra empresa além da Petrobrás. Dessa vez foi pra Shell. Apesar de ser o mesmo trabalho, é um pouco diferente, eles foram bem mais exigentes. Mas no final deu tudo certo, e foi bom pra aprender a lidar com clientes gringos... eheheh

for the first time, I did a job for another company than Petrobrás. It was Shell. Despite the job being the same, it was a little bit different. They were much more demanding. But in the end everything was fine, and it was good for me to learn how to deal foreigner clients... ehehe

Finalmente promovido! - Finally got promoted!

Finalmente saiu a burocracia da minha promoção! Agora não sou mais júnior, virei gente grande! Pra comemorar, fiz um churrasco pra galera aqui. Foi bebedeira com direito a Black Label e Chivas Regal. Haja estômago depois... eheheh...

Finally I'm officially promoted! Now I'm not junior anymore, I've turned into a grew-up man! To celebrate, I make a big barbecue for everyone here. It was a lot of drinking, with Black Label and Chivas Regal. Now I just need a new stomach... ehhehe...

Aniversário da Dani - Dani's Birthday

Uau, dei sorte! Consegui desembarcar bem no fim de semana que a Dani tava em Búzios! Fui correndo pra lá passar o dia com ela, que por mais sorte ainda, era o aniversário dela!!! Foi muito bom! Feliz aniversário Dani!

Wow, I got lucky! I could get back onshore in the very same weekend that Dani was in Búzios! I went straight to there, to spend the day with her. And, for even more luck, it was her birthday! It was great! Happy birthday Dani!

Feliz ano novo embarcado - Happy new offshore year

Ou eu deveria dizer "Feliz novo ano embarcado"? Afinal, vai ser mais um ano inteirinho de trabalho... Eu tava torcendo pra passar em terra a virada do ano, mas não deu. Tive que embarcar logo no dia 31. Será que eu vou ter um tempinho pra respirar?

Or should I say "Happy new year offshore"? After all, it will be one more entire year working... I was hoping that I would stay onshore for the new year's eve, but it wasn't possible. I had to go on 31st. I wonder if I will have a little time to breathe...

Vida louca... - Crazy life...

Tava embarcado, desembarquei dia 26 pra embarcar dia 27... Aí cancelaram, e me mandaram pra Vitória pra embarcar dia 28. Agora resolveram trocar e me mandar de volta a Macaé pra embarcar lá, não sei quando... Virei bola de ping-pong...

I was offshore, came back on 26th to go offshore again on 27th... Then it was cancelled, and they sent me to Vitória, to go offshore on 28th. Now they changed their mind, and are sending me back to Macaé, to go offshore someday... I've turned into a table tennis ball...

Feliz Natal embarcado - Merry offshore Christmas

E eu tava feliz porque ia passar o Natal em casa, com namorada, amigos, família... Eis que meu chefe me liga no dia 22, dizendo que eu tinha que voltar pra embarcar. Viajei na madrugada do dia 23 pro dia 24, embarquei logo que cheguei, pra já iniciar o trabalho na plataforma. Minha ceia de natal foi bolachas com refrigerante, e aproveitei pra quebrar meu recorde de horas sem dormir: 60! Esse natal foi realmente diferente...

And I was happy because I would spend the Christmas day at home, with girlfriend, family, friends... But my boss called me on 22nd, telling me that I had to come back for a job. I traveled during the night from 23rd to 24th, and went offshore as soon as I get there, to start the job at that day in the platform. My Christmas dinner was cookies with soft juice, and I still broke my record of hours awaken: 60! This Christmas was really different...

São Paulo de novo - São Paulo again

Voltei pra São Paulo! É muito legal aqui, cidade grande e tal... Cheio de coisas pra se ver e se fazer! E aqui vou publicar umas fotos de lá. A primeira é do Teatro Municipal, que reformaram e tá bem bonito. Depois uma foto do Vale do Anhangabaú, de cima do Viaduto do Chá, e outra do próprio Viaduto do Chá. E por fim, uma coisa muito comum de São Paulo: artista de rua. Lá sempre tem muitos artistas pelas praças e calçadões. E esse aqui é uma estátua viva, daquelas que quando você dá algum dinheiro, se mexe. Bem legal!

I´m back to São Paulo! It´s pretty cool here, big city, lots of things to see and to do! And I´m gonna post here some pictures from there. First one is from the City Theather, that was refusbished and now is very beautiful. After it, one pic of "Vale do Anhangabaú" (Anhangabaú Valley) from the top of "Viaduto do Chá" (Tea´s Way), and another one from the "Viaduto do Chá". And at last a very commom thing from São Paulo: street artists. There is aways lots of artists around the squares and streets. And this one is a "live statue", it moves when you give it some money. Pretty cool!

Outra lição - Another lesson

Lá se vai o meu carro... Sofri um acidente com ele ontem à noite. Não foi muito sério, mas como as peças dele são caras, disseram que talvez dê PT. Tava com pressa por causa da formatura, e tive muita sorte ao me aproximar de uma rotatória, porque o poste em cima dela estava com a luz queimada. Quando eu consegui ver a rotatória, não deu tempo de frear e passei por cima. Aí estourou os 4 pneus e detonou as 4 rodas e o eixo dianteiro. Mas ainda bem que não aconteceu nada comigo, e que o carro tava no seguro. Aprendi minha lição também, não adianta correr mesmo quando a gente tá com pressa... =(

No car anymore... I had an accident last night. It wasn't that bad, but as its parts are very expensive, I was told it would be a "total lost", as we call here in Brazil (it's when the price to fix it doesn't worth, so we have to buy a new car). I was in a hurry because of the graduation party, and when I was getting close to a rotary, I was very "lucky" because the lights over it were not working. When I could see it, it was too late, and I coudn't brake in time, so I crossed over it. Then my 4 tires blew up, the 4 wheels and the front axis were damaged. Fortunately nothing happened to me, and my car had insurance. I learned my lesson too, it's not worthed to run faster even if we are in a hurry... =(

Quero folga! - I want days off!

Tou feliz e triste ao mesmo tempo... Feliz porque consegui fazer esse trabalho. Depois de estudar todo o manual de operações aqui, consegui me virar e no final do trabalho deu tudo certo. Mas triste porque descobri que vou daqui direto pra outra plataforma pra mais um trabalho (transbordar, como a gente diz aqui). Ou seja, nada de folgas... Acho que nem vou conseguir ir na formatura dos meus amigos, neste sábado. =(

I´m happy and sad at the same time... Happy because I could finish the job. After studying the operations manual here at the platform, I got it and could do everything correct at the end. But I´m sad because I was told to go to another platform straight from here, for one more job (as we say here, I´ll transboard). So, no days off... I´m afraid I won´t be able to go to my friends´ graduation party, on the next saturday. =(
