Finalmente voltei pra Macaé! Terça-feira passada desembarquei, e meu chefe mandou voltar às pressas, mas no fim das contas não era tão urgente assim... Agora tou esperando pra voltar pra Itanhaém de novo...

Finally I came back to Macaé! I disembarked last Tuesday, and my boss asked me to come back in a hurry, but in the end it was not so urgent... Now I'm waiting to go back to Itanhaém...
Como sempre, deu problema no poço, e a gente teve que desembarcar pra esperar mais em Itanhaém, pra depois voltar lá. E é claro, sem previsão nenhuma... Assim fica difícil resolver a nossa vida. Mas em todo caso, tirei umas fotos lá na plataforma, pra colocar aqui...

As aways, we had problems in the well, and we had to disembark to wait in Itanhaém, to come back to the platform later. And of course, we have no idea on when are we going back to the platform... Living like this, it's hard to plan anything. Anyway, I could take some pics at the platform, to post here...
Não dá pra acreditar... Todo dia me dizem: "Você vai embarcar amanhã.", e depois me dizem: "O embarque adiou, mas amanhã você vai com certeza!". E nessa toada eu vou mofando aqui... Enquanto isso, dei mais uma passeada pela cidade, e tirei mais algumas fotos pra mostrar aqui... =P

It's unbelievable... Everyday they say: "You are going offshore tomorrow.", and then they say: "The embark was delayed, but tomorrow you are going for sure!". And going like this, each day I'm getting even more bored here... Meantime, I went sightseeing a little more around the city, and took some other pictures to post here... =P
Desembarquei Sábado, e tive que ir pra São Paulo esperar o novo embarque em Itanhaém... Pelo menos deu pra passar a Páscoa em casa, o primeiro feriado que eu não estou embarcado desde que entrei na companhia!!! Mas cá estou de novo, em Itanhaém, pra embarcar amanhã ou quarta-feira...

I disembarked on Saturday, and had to go to São Paulo, to wait to embark again at Itanhaém. At least I could be at home during the Easter, this was the first holiday that I wasn't offhsore since I joined the company!!! But here I am again, in Itanhaém, to embark tomorrow or maybe wednesday...
Eu achei que ia ficar um tempinho em Macaé, mas que nada... Já saiu outro trabalho na Bacia de Santos, e olha eu de novo aqui em Itanhaém... Espero que dessa vez a gente não tenha que esperar muito aqui no hotel, porque tou cheio de coisas pra resolver lá em Macaé...

I thought tha I would stay in Macaé for a while, but I was wrong... There is already another job at Santos Basin, so I'm back to Itanhaém... I hope this time we won't have to wait too much here at the hotel, because I have lots of stuff to do there in Macaé...
Depois de muitos problemas no trabalho, finalmente consegui terminar e desembarquei na 5a feira. Daí aproveitei que tinha que buscar meu carro e passei uns dias em Piracicaba, curtindo e descansando um pouco... Taí uma foto da plataforma que eu tava, e da Dani cozinhando para mim quando eu tava lá!!! =)

After lots of problems during the job, I finally could finish and then come back onshore on Thursday. Then, as I had to go back to my hometown to get my car, I spent some days there to rest and have a little fun... So, here is a picture from the platform I was on board, and from Dani cooking for me when I was there!!! =)
Ontem eu voltei pra Camboriú, pra embarcar aqui na costa de Santa Catarina. Mas as coisas ainda estão meio enroladas por lá, talvez eu embarque amanhã, talvez depois... Em todo caso, tou publicando uma foto aqui da praia de frente ao hotel onde estou hospedado. Ehehehhe....

Yesterday I came back to Camboriú, to embark at Santa Catarina coast (south Brazil). But things at the platform are quite complicated now, so maybe I will embark tomorrow, maybe later... Who knows? Anyway, I'm posting here a picture from the beach in front of the hotel I'm staying. Eheheh...
Na 5a feira, dia 15, cheguei em Itajaí, para esperar um embarque aqui na costa de Santa Catarina. Mas como o trabalho atrasou, pedi pra tirar folga em São Paulo, e voltei para lá na 6a feira. A Dani foi pra lá no sábado, e passou o fim de semana lá comigo. Daí a gente aproveitou pra ir ver a exposição "Corpo Humano", no Ibirapuera, que traz diversos cadáveres abertos conservados de tal maneira que é possível ver o corpo humano direitinho, em seus mínimos detalhes! Foi muito legal, mas o ruim é que tinha muita gente, o que atrapalhou pra ver as coisas da exposição.

Last Thursday, March 15th, I arrived in Itajaí, to wait for an embark at Santa Catarina coast, south Brazil. As the job was delayed, I asked for some days-off in São Paulo, and went back home on Friday. Dani went to São Paulo on Saturday, and spent the weekend with me. So we went to the exhibition "Human Body", at Ibirapuera Park. It shows lots of dead bodies cut and preserved in a way that we can see everything at minimal details. It was pretty cool, but there were too many people in there, what bothered us a lot, and we couldn't see everything...
Este foi meu primeiro trabalho aqui na bacia de Santos. Apesar do trabalho original ser relativamente simples, deu um monte de problemas, e acabou ficando bastante complexo... Mas mesmo assim, conseguimos terminar, ao menos em partes, e voltar sãos e salvos para terra. Enquanto eu estava lá, tirei algumas fotos da plataforma, e também de uns barquinhos pesqueiros que ficavam pescando em volta da plataforma.

This was my first job at Santos Basin, south from Macaé. Despite the original job being kinda easy, we had lots of problems, and at the end it was much more complex... Even though, we could finish (at least part of the job) and come back safely onshore. While I was there, I took some pics from the platform, and also from some small fishing boats that were fishing around the platform.
Quando eu pedi dez dias de folga, já sabia que não iria conseguir tirar tudo isso. E realmente aconteceu. Assim que eu voltei de Bauru (onde foi a formatura do Fabinho), meu chefe me ligou, dizendo que eu teria que embarcar. Tive que ir de Piracicaba direto pra Itanhaém, pois a plataforma está na Bacia de Santos. Chegando aqui, embarque atrasou, e por enquanto estamos na pousada, sem fazer nada. Então aproveitamos pra passear um pouquinho pela cidade. Tá tudo bem morto, já que a temporada acabou, mas dá pra ver que é uma cidadezinha bem pequena, com contruções antigas e várias igrejinhas. Pra passear em temporada deve ser legal, parece ter vários pontos de agito, quando tem muita gente.

When I asked for ten days-off, I already knew that I wouldn't have all of this. And it really happened. As soon as I got back from Bauru (where was Fabinho's graduation party), my boss called me, telling that I would have to go offshore. I had to go from Piracicaba (my hometown) straight to Itanhaém (at the coast of São Paulo state), because the platform is close to this city. When I got here, I found out that the embark was delayed, so we are staying at a hostel, doing absolutely nothing. So, we are using this free time to walk around the city. It's really dead, because the season of "going to the beach" is over, but we can see that it's a very small town, with old buildings and lots of little churches. During the "hot season" it must be cool, with lot's of good spots for crowdy parties.
