Furacões - Tornados

Hoje nenhuma novidade... À noite rolou uma outra coisa engraçada: aqui eles falam toda hora sobre os procedimentos em caso de haver algum furacão aqui! E por isso, eu acabei descobrindo que aqui é o lugar dos EUA que tem a maior incidência de furacões do país. Além disso, estamos exatamente na época dos furacões! Interessante, não? E o mais legal é que, apesar de eles torcerem pra não ter nenhum furacão, eu estou torcendo pra ter, pra eu saber como é estar no meio de um furacão... eheheh...

Só pra mostrar como é o ambiente aqui, tou publicando uma foto da natureza aqui no centro de treinamento, com a área de aulas práticas ao fundo, o que eles chamam de "Down the Hill" (abaixo da montanha).

À noite fizemos um jantar comunitário aqui, e tivemos nachos (tipo Doritos com um creme de queijo derretido apimentado), feitos por um americano, e macarrão, feitos por um venezuelano. Os nachos tavam muito, mas muito apimentados! Tou colocando aqui uma foto da galera, e uma de mim tocando violão durante o jantar. Essa foto foi o venezuelano que tirou, e disse que essa essa especialmente pras garotas... ehehe

Today no news... But another funny thing: here they talk a lot about tornado safety procedures, in case of any tornado here! And, because of that, I found out that here there are the highest rates of tornado incidents of the country. Furthermore, we are exactly in tornados' season! Interesting, isn't it? And the coolest thing is that, besides they hope we won't have any tornados, I really hope we have them, just to feel how is to be in the middle of one... ehehhe...

Just to show how is the environment here, I'm posting a picture of the nature here at the training center, with our workshop (hands-on area) at the background, what they call "Down the Hill".

At night, we had a common dinner, with nachos, made by an american guy, and pasta, made by an venezuelan guy. The nachos were really, really spicy! I'm posting here a picture of us, and one of me playing guitar during dinner. The one who took this picture was the venezuelan guy, and he told that this one were for "the ladies"... eheheh...
